I saw Dr. Macdonald at the emergency unit at the University Hospital. I was scared and new to my diagnosis, Dr. Macdonald was thorough in asking me questions about my visit to the triage. He was patient, genuinely understanding, respectful, and he explained what the process would be for me while I was there. I felt heard & that my medical needs were met during my visit. I was referred to a specialist ( within the same week).
