Dr Korley Robert Ellison Clottey

I can easily say that Dr. Korley saved my live.
On May 23, 2019 a motorcycle ran me down on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria, where my husband works. I was so bad injured that in Nigeria the Dr. that look after me wanted to amputated my right leg. After hours of discussions I was evacuated to Calgary on May 25.

On May 27 after 7 1/2 hours in surgery to fix both legs tibial plateau fractures. Dr. Korley saved my legs and give me hope.

I remember that in my first appointment, after surgery he told me to be positive no matter what happened, "stay positive all the time" he said. These words changed me and worked in my brain as magic. During the recovery process, in the days that I felt down or sad, I got used to think about Dr. Korley encouragement words. And I worked hard to make my Doctor and his team proud of the work that they did in my legs.

He is a very skilled surgeon. He is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor I am almost pain free. I am very grateful to him.
